Thanks! You'll actually probably think this is pretty funny, but my bass is direct into a Boss DR880 drum machine of all things. The amp modeling in that is set to "Clean Bass" and that is going into an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra via S/PDIF. I use Reaper to record the audio. I added some minor EQ and compression just to even stuff out using the free plug-ins that came with it. And that's it! Pretty simple, actually. A lot of my tone comes from the bass and the simple fact that I play really hard.
